Homework

Homework will be set every Wednesday and is to be returned on the following Monday. Each week will alternate between a Maths focus and an English focus.

Year 4 should also focus on learning all of the times tables as this will benefit all areas of their mathematical understanding.  Ask your child about TT38 and what this means to them.

Spelling tests will take place on a Monday, with a new list given each week following the spelling rules taught. In addition to the 10 spellings given, children will be tested randomly on two words from the Year 3 and 4 statutory spelling list. A copy is glued into your child's diary.

Children now have a username and password for SPAG.com where they can access grammar homework tasks. They will be told when a task is to be completed.
