Welcome to our class page.

We are looking forward to sharing our learning experiences with you.

27.6.18

Thank you for your support at our recent Sports Day.  It was lovely to see the children take part with big smiles on their faces and our school values of courage and enjoyment in action.  We hope you enjoyed it too.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about castles and it has inspired lots of great writing.  We were lucky enough to have a visit from one of our Reception Dads, who happens to be an expert on the subject.  He shared his knowledge of weapons used to attack and defend castle in a 'hands-on session'.

With just a few weeks left of this academic year, we wll be beginning to look ahead to Year 1.  As soon as the new classes are announced we will begin our transition process to get the children ready for their move up.  The Year One class teachers will come and visit them in Reception and they will spend 2 days in Year One.

However, there is still plenty of time for lots of learning still in Reception (and lots of exciting things to look forward to).

We are really looking forward to our Educational Visit to Birches Valley on Tuesday 10th July. It should be fantastic day and leave your children with some special memories.
