REB

Welcome to our class page.

We are looking forward to sharing our learning experiences with you.

 8th November

Welcome back after the Half Term holiday.  We have busy few weeks ahead of us and look forward to sharing our news with you on our class page. We were joined by Kevin Bales this week to introduce our new school value of 'Courage'. We are thinking about how we can show this in our daily life both at school and at home.  If you have any examples of how your child has showed courage at home, we would love to hear from you.

Autumn Term 2

Our topic is:

All Aboard

We will be sharing the following stories:

Week 1: Bonfire Night and Diwali

Week 2: We're Going on a Bear Hunt

Week 3: Whatever Next

Week 4: The Train Ride

Week 5: Lost and Found

Week 6: The Stickman

Week 7: Christmas

Harvest

We were pleased that so many of you were able to join us for our Harvest celebrations.  Your generous donations will be helping many local families.  We thought the children performed their songs beautifully and we hope you enjoyed their first performance in school.

Please visit the NCPCC website for more information about how to share the important ‘PANTS message’ to your child.

We have discussed this in school but you may also want to chat to your child about this at home.

Have a look below at our Autumn 1 Term topic flyer!

Don't forget to look in the 'letters home' section to find a copy of our weekly newsletter.

Things to remember:

  • PE is on a Thursday
  • Book bags and reading diaries every day. Your child’s reading day will vary each week.
  • A water bottle every day.

If you do have any questions or concerns then do not hesitate to talk to a member of the Reception team.
